The following feature monitors wagering activity at multiple online sportsbooks. The "betting percentages" represent actual wagers placed on each game at the participating sportsbooks. The data is updated every 30mins. Click on the linear graph feature located on the right-hand side to view stats over a 24hr period. The information is intended to give viewers a deeper understanding of the sports marketplace.

Like any marketplace, a buy and seller agree on a price, in this case a "point spread".  But knowing the "point spread" is only half the picture. Understanding the forces affecting the "point spread' movement, i.e. the volume of bets,  the percentage of bets on the home team, and the percentage of bets on the away team, is essential to determining the true value of any "point spread".
