Subset since 1980: if PLAY AGAINST team is facing a foe coming off a loss and the foe did not lose to the spread by more than 12 poonts in its last game. ATS W-L Record Since 1980: 13-0

College Football: RUNNIN' SCARED
Subset since 1980: if PLAY AGAINST team is facing a .500 or greater foe that won 6 or more games last season if the foe was not favored by 18 or more points in its last game.
ATS W-L Record Since 1980: 0-15

College Football: IN THE AIR TONIGHT
Subset since 1980: if PLAY ON team is facing a foe coming off consecutive wins and was not favored by more than 15 points in its last game. ATS W-L Record Since 1980: 12-0

College Football: RUNNING ON EMPTY
Subset since 1980: if PLAY AGAINST team is coming off a loss and a spread loss of more than 6 points provided they were not a double-digit favorite in their last game. ATS W-L Record: 0-12

College Football: CANDLE IN THE WIND
Subset since 1980: if PLAY ON team owns a greater than .600 win percentage and was favored by 21 or fewer points in its last game if they are facing a foe with a winning record who scored 34 or fewer points in its last game. ATS W-L Record: 15-0

College Football: BRILLIANT DISGUISE
Subset since 1980: if PLAY AGAINST team is facing a foe that allows fewer than 24 points per game from Game 7 out. ATS W-L Record: 0-15

NFL: LIKE A ROLLING STONE
Subset since 1980: if PLAY AGAINST team won fewer than 13 games last season and they are facing a division foe coming off an ATS win. ATS W-L Record Since 1980: 0-16-1

NFL: ONE OF THESE NIGHTS
Subset since 1987: if PLAY ON team is a dog of more than 7 points and is facing a non-division foe coming off a win of 15 or more points if the Sunday Night dog was a winning team last season. ATS W-L Record: 13-0

NFL: STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
Subset since 1980: if PLAY ON team owns a better record than its opponent provided they are a favorite of more than 4 points and their opponent is coming off an ATS win of 5 or more points. ATS W-L Record: 14-0

NFL: SUPERSTITION
Subset since 1980: if PLAY AGAINST team covered its last game by double-digits and they were not favored in their last game, and they failed to score 40 or more points in each of their last games, provided they are facing a .454 or greater foe. ATS W-L Record: 0-18-1

NFL: I AM I SAID
Subset since 1980: if PLAY ON team is seeking revenge and coming off a loss of 24 or more points and is facing a foe that was not favored by more than 11 points in its last game provided the foe owns at least one loss on the season. ATS W-L Record: 14-0

NFL: END OF THE LINE
Subset since 1980: if PLAY AGAINST team is facing a foe off a double-digit loss and a spread loss of 5 or more points if the foe scored fewer than 48 points in the loss. ATS W-L Record: 0-14-1
