Subset since 1980: if PLAY ON team allows 23 or fewer PPG and is facing a foe that won 9 or fewer games last season and who allows more than 19.5 PPG if the foe is coming off a win of 6 or more points.

College Football: UPTIGHT EVERY THING IS ALRIGHT
Subset since 2001: if PLAY ON team is facing an .800 or greater foe.

College Football: MERCY MERCY ME
Subset since 1980: if PLAY AGAINST team is off either a win or a loss of 14 or fewer points before Game Nine of the season.

College Football: ROADRUNNER
Subset since 1980: if PLAY ON team allows 27 or fewer PPG and this game occurs before Game Ten of the season.

Subset since 2005: if PLAY AGAINST team won 12-plus games last season, started this season unbeaten and is coming off its first loss of the year in which it allowed 28 or more points.
