1. 1. I grew up in Minneapolis as a proud Twins and North Stars fan, while being warned that investing in the Vikings would lead to a lifetime of heartbreak.
2. 2. My first job was at a movie theater, where I served popcorn to Emilio Estevez during a Mighty Ducks screening.
3. 3. In high school I worked several summers at a golf course that once hosted a PGA Championship.
4. 4. I saw a puma on consecutive days while hiking in Patagonia.
5. 5. I regularly walk or jog around Lake Monona, where Otis Redding sadly passed in a plane crash in 1967.
