He penned an NFL column for USA TODAY Sports Weekly for 10 years and has authored numerous handicapping articles. He also authors an insightful sports handicapping column, BETCHA DIDN’T KNOW, on Substack.
With over 500 Top 10 handicapping awards, Marc hosts the Against the Spread podcast and contributes to the Pro Line TV podcasts. A 2005 STARDUST INVITATIONAL winner and three-time WISE GUYS champion, his technical approach uses a vast proprietary sports database – his ‘Well-Oiled Machine’ - applying cause-and-effect theories. When applied with an array of edges and ‘value’ it leads to successful forecasts on various sporting events.
Married lives life by the Golden Rule and is married to Colleen, his high school sweetheart, who works with him and his son, Marc Jr., in the business.
