I'm Big Mike and here are 5 things you didn't know about me...
- 1. I was born in Denver Colorado but move around a lot due to my father's job. Before college I had lived in Denver, Butte, MT, Cheyenne WY and Van Nuys CA. I stayed in California to complete elementary, junior high and high school. I moved to Las Vegas, NV to attend grad school and have stayed here ever since.
- 2. I went to California State University Northridge in Los Angeles county. I graduated with a Bachelor degree in computer science and an associates degree in mathematics.
- 3. I began my career in sports betting in 1986 working for National Sports Services in Las Vegas, NV. I was always fascinated by using my statistics and math degrees to see if I could create computer algorithms to help me pick my sports bets. This led to my creating Pitcher Fast Facts that appeared daily in the Las Vegas review journal and across North America via Gannett News.
- 4. I won the Stations Casino NFL Mini-Football contest with the aid of my Computer driven algorithms for $10,000.
- 5. I love watching sports, my favorite teams are the Denver Broncos, LA Dodgers, Las Vegas Golden Knights and Liverpool in the English Premier League.
