NFL 2020: Who's Winning And Who's Not
Posted: 2020-12-03

With Thanksgiving dinner behind us it's on to the final month of the 2020 NFL season. It's also time to examine how teams have fared in games this season against winning opposition.

Those with positive numbers generally fare well in December and on into the playoffs. Those who have struggled will likely continue to do so.

With assistance from my well-oiled machine here is the scorecard for each team in games versus opponent that owned a winning record at the time they played.

TEAM SU ATS
Arizona 3-2 2-3
Atlanta 1-3 1-3
Baltimore 1-4 2-3
Buffalo 3-3 4-2
Carolina 1-4 3-2
Chicago 2-5 3-4
Cincinnati 1-4 3-2
Cleveland 1-1 1-1

Dallas 0-4 1-3
Denver 1-4 2-3
Detroit 1-2 1-2
Green Bay 0-2 0-2
Houston 0-5 1-4
Indianapolis 3-3 3-3
Jacksonville 0-4 1-3
Kansas City 6-0 3-3

Las Vegas 3-3 4-2
LA Chargers 0-5 2-3
LA Rams 3-1 3-1
Miami 2-2 3-1
Minnesota 2-2 4-0
New England 3-3 4-2
New Orleans 2-2 1-3
NY Giants 0-3 3-0

NY Jets 0-3 1-2
Philadelphia 1-4-1 3-3
Pittsburgh 4-0 3-1
San Francisco 2-3 2-3
Seattle 3-3 3-3
Tampa Bay 2-4 3-3
Tennessee 5-2 4-3
Washington 0-3 0-2-1

As you might imagine there are a few surprises. One is the Packers winless mark against winning foes this campaign. And not only is Dallas 0-5 against the same ilk this season, they are 1-9 the past two years.

Keep this list handy as we navigate through the final quarter of the 2020 NFL season. I'm betting you'll be glad you did.
